Las decisiones tomadas por el gobierno mexicano limitaron las inversiones actuales y futuras de empresas del sector energético que sean de los Estados Unidos. Esto lo afirma el organismo que representa las refinerías del país, en una carta que fue escrita al presidente de los Estados Unidos Donal Trump.

La entidad que une los propietarios de petroquímica y refineria estadounidense llamada AFPM. Esta es una institución que considera la decisión del gobierno mexicano está en contra posición al tratado con Estados Unidos y Canadá. El cual entrar en vigencia el próximo miércoles.

¡Comprenda el miedo de los empresarios con respecto a las decisiones del gobierno mexicano!

De hecho, México es el mayor mercado de exportación de materia prima de petróleo. En 2019, Estados Unidos exportó por día de productos refinados 1.2 millones de barriles de México. Esto corresponde a más de 3 veces el volumen de hace una década y en la actualidad equivale a más del 20% de las exportaciones de productos refinados Norteamericano, se lee en la carta.

Para el sector energético, el libre mercado de América del Norte es fundamental. Canadá y México representan no sólo exceder por encima del 50% de nuestras importaciones de petróleo crudo. Además, también son dos de los mercados más críticos para las exportaciones de empresas estadunidenses de bienes refinados como la gasolina y el diésel. 

Estas acciones realizadas por el gobierno mexicano ponen en riesgo las inversiones directas que las empresas estadounidenses vienen realizando. Como también los empleos estadounidenses e ingresos futuros están en riesgo si las inversiones son inviables a largo plazo.

El presidente de la Coparmex, Gustavo de Hoyos, resaltó la importancia de este tratado, al mencionar en un tuit que “La integración norteamericana fue una decisión histórica del país. La continuidad derivada del T-MEC es hoy una apuesta ganadora para México”, concluye el mensaje en esa red social.

Hay varias medidas medidas del gobierno mexicano para limitar las inversiones actuales y futuras de empresas estadunidenses en el mercado energético mexicano. Estas medidas envuelven el retraso de los permisos para desarrollar infraestructura, exenciones y vacíos en las regulaciones e inhabilitar los permisos de importación. Todo esto que le favorece a las empresas estatales como Pemex.
